These 2 days have made me think of my future...
Yesterday went for naval diving unit pre-enlistee selection at sembawang naval base...becos cmpb apparently thinks that i got what it takes to be a diver -_- haha...a once-in-a-lifetime enriching experience for me...took 16pf test for the FOURTH TIME and some other psychometric tests (soooo sian ><), den had physical exam, medical exam den lastly interview...the whole thing went rather smoothly, i shud say...and quite interesting and fun too =D...so now juz see where cmpb posts me to for bmt..either tekong or sembawang or some other place which i dunno...(oh yah..the food at the base was quite gd haha...provided by singapore food services...lol)
and it made me tink, shuld i pursue a career in the SAF? haha...i nvr thought of this until these few wks...i could choose to be a pilot or diver...totally unexpected of myself to think of this but it's true...
Today vj held some careers and scholarships fair for us so went sch to visit various booths and listen to talks..i went for CAAS and Firefly talks...learnt quite a bit from the whole event...not to mention getting lotsa freebies =)...haha..it's like visit booth = sure get something...budden i also not that kiasu go kope everything from all the booths lar ><
haha den after everything..i finally have some sorta direction to my uni life excluding the fact tat i may sign on to SAF -_-..preferably something like me getting a scholarship from somewhere which allows me to study hotel/ hospitality and tourism management overseas in perhaps switzerland or other countries (seriously, i am really attracted to the firefly scholarship where stb is under it =D )...haha...say until as though it's so easy to get a scholarship..lol...it's gonna be really hard budden i shall juz do my best and see how it goes...
If everything else fails...perhaps u would see me up in the sky or underwater in future...haha
Well seems that the court case between NKF and SPH is the hottest piece of news circulating nowadays...reported on the newspapers, talked abt on blogs, discussed in class etc...
Probably everyone is against T. T. Durai and whatever he's done except the officials and staff of NKF... if only he knows how to donate a small part of his monthly salary instead of "perhaps using" funds from NKF for whatever reasons we dunno...that would make everyone much happier...
And this whole NKF affair has led me to think of something: income inequality...
How families of NKF patients have to work so hard in order to cover the medical expenses for treatment while the NKF chief executive gets to earn so much money and even goes overboard to "maybe use" NKF funds for his own leisure...
And T. T. Durai said that he would only resign if people wanted him to...i certainly will be one of those people...

ok i am crapping once again...
On a positive note, at least NKF isn't really in dire straits after all and can support all its patients for another few decades unless either inflation, slow economic growth or depreciation of the Singapore dollar occurs in the near future...den again i might be wrong with my economics facts but till den i take it dat i am correct... =)
This place is getting dusty if i dun blog any sooner...
But i have nothing to say here too...
Except that it's time to start working towards the future!!!

Haha..after 3 days of tests came 5 days of freedom and slacking...
let's see...
on thurs went to watch initial d with claz...the show not bad..a comedy + action type of movie...i liked the racing scenes in the movie...found it cool..haha it's all wishful thinking but what if i really got a chance one day to race thru the streets too? lol...the most impt thing is i dun crash into barricades or fall down from mountains...budden the ending seemed abrupt to me...well there's talk of a sequel to the show but nothing confirmed yet so let's juz wait and see...
saturday was the main highlight...went out of the house at abt 12 pm and reached home a whopping 11+ hrs later...haha..thoroughly enjoyed myself with the J2 chs wushu peers and a certain extra junior..haha juz kidding =D...well we all had so much fun...walked around orchard, went arcade den watched war of the worlds...the show was gd...a tragedy + action type of movie...seemed a little sadistic when the movie was portraying how ppl can get annihilated by aliens that easily...*ZAP* and u're gone...
well the ending again seemed abrupt to me...haha but overall i tink the movie was great...
den went for a sumptuous dinner at fish n co which had the word "expensive" highlighted on the prices...budden it's not often that we all go for a great meal and talk so much together...haha...lotsa rubbish and crap came out of our mouths budden again we din care...all that mattered was everyone was laughing and enjoying...
Yesterday and today is mainly for me to stay at home and slack to my utmost ability (is there such a thing as ultimate slacking? lol)
Hadn't had so much fun in a short span of a few days...better than the whole month of my june hols by a lot...watched 2 movies in 3 days..haha..budden i still wanna watch fantastic 4...
Kk...soon it will be back to school back to tutorials and lectures and back to seeing teachers' faces as they return our papers...lol...till den..i gonna enjoy myself though... =)
