I'm done with my jigsaw puzzle! =)

Hahaha...and i feel like i should go grab another one and start doing again...

but i guess i'll just enjoy the christmas parties first haha =D

I was busy with Magical Christmas Blood Donation Drive the past 2 wkends... it was truly quite a gd experience helping out in various ways from recruiting donors to giving out flyers to ushering and eventually i decided to donate blood myself hahaha...altho many would say that what i mentioned above seem boring and mundane, i think the whole setup of the event speaks for itself lah...blood donation drive aiming to get ppl to donate blood and save lives (1 donor's blood can save 3 lives!) hahhaa...so meaningful right...also explains how i missed 2 wks of bball and i think it's well justified haha...

Speaking of my own blood-donating experience, it was good and bad...all i can say is:

1) I am not scared of needles! =D
2) Do not donate blood after a long, tiring day of work...haha

I am certainly looking forward to donate more blood in future...hahaha anyone wans to join me nxt time after march 09?

Den on sat nite went to deb's house for xmas potluck party...there were lotsa great food lah...haven really had such a spread in a long time and we juz ate and ate and ate (at least for me =X) haha...den after that played bridge and daidee which again, i haven touched in a long time (kinda miss those "illegal" card sessions in school last time...i still rmb us being discovered by the principal! hahahha)

And that reminds me of 04S31's gathering last wk at marche...good turnout of 10 ppl i felt =)...nice to catch up with those present and take pics as well...and hopefully we'll have our nxt meetup soon!

It's 2 more weeks till sch starts once again...and it's gonna a really packed 2 wks with the festive holidays approaching (yay to more gd food and presents! hahaha)...even without the Christmas and New Year holidays, i guess i would still be finding activities to do and juz enjoy and have fun...

Oh yah i have juz a small portion of my 1000 piece jigsaw left...hahaha...i think i might finish it by tonite!

I wanna go overseas...

to places i have never been to be4

backpacking with my frens (like oh and nigo now)

for ocip (maybe next summer)

holidaying at some really cool destination (maybe australia next yr!)

Sometimes, i really wish i had the freedom to go travel with juz a backpack and go to diff countries (e.g. laos, cambodia, vietnam etc) living the budget way...slping in budget hostels, eating from roadside stalls, moving around free and easy...haven had that opportunity be4 and maybe i should do it next yr...haha...i think it will be a totally different experience from the usual kind of holiday...the laidbacked style, the not-so-clean-and-good facilities, exploring many places by myself(or with a few frens), immersing in the local cultures, really living life in a new way...haha...

But with quite a few countries having internal problems now, travelling to them ain't tat safe anymore...well let's hope the situation will juz improve bah...hahaha...

Haha this past wk was spent meeting up with many peeps who i haven seen in a long time...met the vjc wushu peeps on tues and had steamboat at bugis...haha i used to not really like steamboats esp those $12 kind at marina bay...juz din feel that the food was any good being barbecued and stuff...budden tat day going to the $18 one was quite different...with so many diff types of seafood and meat etc, plus all the veggies...haha and the soup bases were quite gd too...maybe it's becos of the price bah...

Went out with my mum on wed! haha haven done so for very long le...had a nice lunch at botejyu selling okonomiyaki and soba at liang court there...delicious! haha or maybe it's juz that i LOVE JAPANESE FOOD! acty i think i love all kinds of food as long as they taste gd =) hahaha...and i am a big eater too! always finding for snacks to eat shortly after meals haha...and also we bought the jigsaw puzzle i talked abt in my last entry...hahaha

Thurs was spent with the chs guys...had lunch at ding tai feng with the xiao long baos and other-kinds-of-dumplings haha...and they treated me! haha thanks ah everyone...

Played soccer at the cage on friday with the samba guys...haha first time playing there...my skills ain't very gd but i tink still alrite lah =X hahah...and den went old airport hawker centre for lunch (great foodie place!) be4 going queensway and IKEA with glen jo and tj...hahaha IKEA juz rocks lah with all its furniture designs and stuff...the things there are so brilliant lah...

"Usual" bball session on sat morning...haha slowly getting back to like in the past...but not many ppl lah...i kinda miss the full court sessions lah...gotta go back chs one day to play full court there...hahaha...the afternoon basically was spent nuaing at home (being shagged out from bball) be4 going out for dinner with mum and sis at bishan for chicken rice...haha the very very long queue one...i tink the bishan guys know which one i referring to lah(esp oh who was heading towards there as i was going home lol)

Den met joce today be4 and after watching the samba busking at ngee ann city...haha...i tink it's been around a year since i last saw her lah...she said i looked different maybe becos of my hair haha -_- ...well anyway it was nice catching up with her...getting to hear about jc life which i haven heard of in a few years liao and me sharing my uni life with her...haha too bad i din get to have dinner with her...haha let's go for a meal another day! =)

Samba busking was quite gd i felt...hope to busk at the end of this month! haha...den u guys can come support me!

Jigsaw progress is quite good...slowly putting all the different pieces together after sorting out into diff colours...i aim to finish it by end of the year? hahahha...with all my other commitments and going out, let's see whether i can do it...

Haha i had a really great 21st birthday celebration with my family and frens last thurs...it was juz so nice to relax and enjoy after the exams (which ended one day be4 so heng ah hahah)... juz wanna thank everyone for all the well-wishes, presents etc...i was really happy that day! =D

And i'm kinda celebrating it again tmr with the chs wushu peeps during lunch...hahaha...acty more of a get-together with the other 3 kings, tj and km whom i haven really seen in a long time (excluding tat moz recent bball session) haha...time to catch up with one another!

Exams were alright...hope the grades will be alright too =) hahaha...

Bleahz i hope my diff activities wun clash again lah...if not always put me in dilemma on choosing one over the other... =( tat kinda sux man...

Oh yeah i juz started on a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle! hahaha something new which i haven tried be4...lol hope to finish it by the end of this hols (if not i wun know when i will acty finish it once the sch term starts again!)

And there are lotsa shows i'm watching this holiday too...besides the usual american shows, i suddenly wanna add 2 more to the list: hotshot (lan qiu huo) and bu liang xiao hua (the one with yang cheng lin and pan wei bo)..the latter's starting on channel u nxt monday but i dun have a habit of following serials on tv esp when the flow gets disrupted becos i gotta miss one or two episodes when i go out or do other things...hahhaha i think they'll be quite entertaining...and hopefully i can one way or another get to finish both series...but first it'll still be BoB! (i'm gonna return it to u soon glen haha)

Time to carry on the sorting out of jigsaw pieces! =)
