Aiyoh....today didn't go sch becos was feeling ill.....with a "mightily bad" sore throat,running nose,headache...so at home....i was sort of slacking.....told myself to finish the 11 big tasks at hand...but so far only finished 1....oops...i am really lazy...but at the same time..i also sick lah...so i was resting to recover :P....hahahaha...tmr go sch sian diaoz.....must copy notes...catch up with tutorials(of which some i haven done...heehee)...at least i can exempt myself from pe tmr... :D
Ok...finally gonna tok abt olympics here...to fill up a longer entry...
Ronald Susilo and Li Jia Wei...Singapore's greatest hopes of getting a medal...but in the end also dun have....haiz...wait another 4 yrs bahz...feeling both proud and disappointed for them...maybe wait for them to tie the knot with these few yrs then at beijing 2008 olympics...then both can win medals....hahahha...some more with PM Lee Hsien Loong's national day rally yest...announcing more pro-baby perks...maybe they should really marry,win olympics medals at 2008(then got money from that million dollar scheme also),announce retirement and have babies...
As for the rest of the singapore contingent...dunno what to say...most of them underperformed at the olympics...but nonetheless..at least they participated....
other olympics highlights...
from swimming:
phelps:diff strokes king..but performs best with butterfly i think....was excellent
thorpe:freestyle king was somewhat gd
aaron peirsol:backstroke king...seems gd..somehow was disqualified and got stripped of his gold medal but managed to get it back...
kotsuke kitajima:breaststroke king...somehow others wanted him to be disqualified and for him to be stripped of his gold medal but he managed to keep it...
diving:one person of that chinese pair who got distracted and fumbled his last jump and so got no points for it...from first become 8th i think...quite sad...
gymnastics:the gymnasts all so pro...with the somersaults and twists and turns...
table-tennis:singapore got 2 players in quarters but juz couldn't win anything in the end...too bad lor...
basketball:USA not doing that great after all...struggling throughout...see if they can win the gold medal at the end of the games...
well that's all...maybe tok abt olympics again another time....go eat dinner liaoz....
