Time really flies huh? It's a new year all over again...but one that will be very different from those be4...
Haha...being in ns for the past 3 wks have led me to be detached from the civilian world as i have trouble knowing of the news that's been happening all around, obtaining scores of soccer matches which i used to always know at my fingertips, remembering what day and date it is inside camp and also forgetting things like my sisters having to go back school tmr...
Maybe it's juz becos i have no more sch to attend for the nxt 2 yrs or maybe my mind is too lazy and tired to tink after all the physical training sessions in tekong or maybe it's becos i have been too busy myself with ns while everyone's enjoying their hols in dec that i sort of assume that they will continue their fun times into the new year and then i finally realised that everyone will be busy once again as per normal...esp with moz of the guys enlisting soon in a few days' time...as for those who enlist onli in april, they shld be finding work or already working..and same goes for the gals too...and my siblings, juniors and other frens will be having sch be it jc, sec sch, uni... Haha...
Now i sort of get a rough idea why there is a need for a 2 wk period that i heard of for nsmen to help them adjust back to their civilian lives after they ORD...
Well, life in ns has not been too bad for me...haha...although i may be the onli person who thinks that ns is actually quite fun sometimes...oh well one more wk to a full month of ns for me...and den payday comes again hahahah...at least like my officer said "You get paid to slim down and train up"...i am earning money while building my physique up which of coz is a double bonus...although the process ain't that easy after all...i gotta endure..haha

anyway 2006's here, nkf saga's over, it's a world cup year (although i wun get to watch much of becos of ns), now have to pay adult fares for ezlink card (painful sia but at least in tekong every wk den onli book out during wkends so no need to spend so much on transport), cost of living will most probably rise but offset by earning pay...haha
and i juz realised that nowadays when i go out, i do not have to tink as hard as i used to when it comes to spending more money on things like wkend movies and nicer food...haha...maybe it's becos i know that i am earning money now and so with that thought in mind, i give myself more leeway to spend on what i wan..of coz i dun splurge that much...although i bought a ps2 recently haha...but that's more of a long term investment for me as enjoyment that i get when i bk out of wkends and have nowhere to go out...haha..
on another note, i have to say that christmas and the new year outings that i've had were great (probably also becos i was in tekong all along be4 i came out for these hols)...but i have to admit truthfully that i was a little disappointed over yest's claz outing...haha...some ppl will have the same sentiments as me i guess...but overall it's still gd to see everyone again during these few outings be4 we all become busy...
