Coincidences often occur in everyone's lives... Seeing familiar faces while walking on the streets, realising that a certain someone used to be ur ex-classmate in primary school etc... All of us should have experienced that feeling before... one of deja vu, one of great surprise, one of rekindled interest... and coincidences often invoke pleasant feelings in us... if anything, we seldom remember those of unhappiness...

Some things are just meant to happen while some others are not meant to... And some things might somehow change with the occurrence of coincidences when we least expect them to... And that's the time we can truly declare that miracles do happen in this world... =)

I'M BACK FROM SPORTS CAMP!!! haha... =)

Had a great time in my first smu camp...playing lots of sports while trying out new ones, making many frens and bonding well with my group and overall, juz enjoying and having fun thruout...2nd place in amazing race juz makes the whole episode sweeter as we won for ourselves fish n co vouchers to be used for our nxt group outing...i'm so proud of my team! haha...my sister was right...go camp is really damn shag after tat...but of coz also damn fun lah...lol =)

Now that i dun have any camp for this coming week, i'll have to revert to my life of giving tuition, meeting up with frens, slacking around etc...i wan watch dark knight and red cliff hahhaa...hopefully by this wk bah...if not when the other camps and sch stuff start arriving, there wun be much time left for other activities....haha...

Haha it was a great paintball event held yesterday...

Participants had lotsa fun and i tink they really enjoyed themselves...while the weather was very kind too...a little drizzle had emerged but quickly subsided halfway thru the event...overall, the event was run very smoothly imo and that feeling of achieving what u set out to do is nice... =)

Working with a bunch of wonderful guys and gers for this event of coz helps too!

Sometimes when things dun go our way, we juz gotta accept it and look forward to life...that's the way we often say we shld act but seldom do we follow it...there will surely be a tinge of disappointment no matter how small when we realise how certain events dun go the way we expected...as the chinese saying goes, "the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment"...how apt as a description of us humans...there's nothing much we can do abt it but we still think of the what-ifs even though there's no point in doing s0...regretting certain actions of ours also wun help at all unless u can compensate for them...and in this world today, the word "sorry" just doesn't seem that effective a word when used for asking of forgiveness...

And inevitably we will look at others around us and compare...altho again we know comparing sux as u onli make urself feel worse when u pale in comparison to others...to this, i can onli offer the viewpoint that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses...some things good, some things bad...we can't be good in everything, can we? haha...sceptics will look at this and say that it's a form of consolation to tell ourselves that we ain't that bad as compared to the stronger/better/more elite others...well it's true to a certain extent budden we can't juz dismiss this viewpoint juz becos of this...rather, we shld use it as a form of motivation to build on our strengths and improve on our weaknesses...only den will we feel that our lives are progressing the way we want them to...

The way i look at my life now: it's quite gd considering moz factors =)... could be better in certain areas but it's acceptable...juz gotta wait and see for new developments to occur in the future (which i hope would materialise sooner rather than later? depends on what i'm thinking of =X)

Quite a while since the last time i blogged...

Went to taiwan and came back after 5 days 4 nites there...this time we flew by cathay which is much better than jetstar... great trip with the clan 1mba dudes as expected...haha lotsa fun and excitement, not forgetting the eating and shopping as well =) ...lol

Everything's back to reality once we landed in singapore...back to giving tuition to my tutees and going for my driving revision lessons (my driving test's nxt thurs btw haha) these few days...

Relief teaching no more...will be blogging a separate entry on my overall experiences as a relief teacher in future but not now...lol...procrastination on my part i guess...

Today went back to sch to give away souvenirs to my fellow staff before playing bball (we are playing bball again tmr! haha) and had an afternoon driving lesson juz now... it was much much better than my previous one 2 days ago when i probably was still tired out from the trip and messed up a few times...today was smooth sailing and the feeling was sweetttttttt...haha...now i juz have to replicate today's form nxt thurs and the licence shall come to me...lol
